耗资几千万的百度翻译上线了

百度推出新业务—在线翻译。知情人士向腾讯科技透露，百度翻译是由百度和中科院合作的一个项目，已向国家申请了几千万资金扶持，并已研发了两年，现在还属于试运营阶段。具体使用效果还需要第三方评测及用户反馈。

首先，我选取了一段SEDO的英文介绍进行翻译，百度和谷歌的翻译结果如下图：

对比：

这一句话，百度的结果为：停放的域名市场是最活跃的行业，提供了世界上最大的选择溢价域超过18000000出售！

Google的结果为：Sedo的域名市场是最活跃的行业，提供世界上最大的优质域名选择与超过18亿发售！

有道的结果为：Sedo领域市场是最活跃的工业和世界上最大的选择提供优质的领域有超过1800万的可供出售!

我英文不是太好，但从数据可以看出来，百度和有道是最接近的。而这种其中，百度会让你去数圈圈，有道直接用万为单位显得人性化一些。

Google的结果则显得通顺一些，不过那个数字的问题很令人纳闷。

有道显得有些凌乱，不过也勉强过得去。

Google：可翻译50多种语言（约为百度的25倍）

百度：简单，粗糙

Google:较丰富一些（翻译框右侧放置了相关语言，及网站，下方提示可将Google翻译应用在何处）

有道：相对丰富（提示可人工翻译，有道词典网页版，有道词典）（页面底部放置了有道推广的广告，百度与谷歌均无广告）

总结

百度：刚起步，后期可能会好一些。不过起步的时候油门给大了（耗资几千万），可能会栽跟头（骑过摩托车的都知道）。

Google：一直默默的做。不知道投入多少，据传在上海有一个翻译小组。

有道：词典客户端或成为核心，翻译上还需努力。

今天，有钱的烧钱；没钱的，烧纸。
